This page is optimized for large screens. Zooming may cause some display problems.
Caution min. efl and max. efl are necessarily different from zero.
min. diameter, max. diameter> are necessarily strictly larger than zero.
min. mag. and max. mag. can be null, negative or positive. The magnification is null for for curved mirrors with object at infinity. It is negative when the paraxial image is inverted with respect to the object and positive otherwise.
min. offset and max. offset can be null, negative or positive. The offset is null for centered mirrors. For “off-axis parabola-angular offset”, the offset is the angle of the chief ray with the mirror axis around the X axis (perpendicular to the screen) and the positive direction is clockwise. For “off-axis parabola-decenter”, the offset is the coordinate on the Y axis (vertical and directed to the top) of the chief ray which is considered in this case parallel to the mirror axis.
It is possible to leave cells empty. The related criterions are then not taken into account.
