All cells corresponding to an activated merit function must be filled in.

For each activated boundary function, the minimum and maximum thicknesses corresponding respectively to the min. thickness and max. thickness cells are positive or null.

The weight is necessarily positive or null.

It is important that the values set for the boundaries encompass the corresponding thicknesses in the initial system otherwise the optimization process starts with large boundary(ies) function(s) value(s) that can block the optimization process.
