Caution
Any surface can be removed except the object and the observation surfaces. In any case, the system should include at least one "optical" surface (identified by a number).
In the case where the aperture is the surface to be removed and is the surface number "1", the aperture is redefined by the following surface. In the case where the aperture is the surface to be removed and is not the surface number "1", the aperture is redefined by the previous surface.
