About
Wavelengths
The wavelengths are defined with the following parameters.
---number---
It is the wavelength identifier.
---wavelength---
Wavelength value to be entered in microns.
---active---
The wavelength can be used in the calculations only if the related active check box is checked otherwise the wavelength is ignored. Note that one or all active wavelength(s) can be selected in the Options table for the calculations.
---weight---
The weight is a positive number characterizing the importance of the wavelength. The weight is used in "spot diagrams", "encircled energy", "PSF", "PSF_CROSS", "MTFs", "best focus" and "transmitted flux" calculations (see the tutorials relative to these calculations).
