fi : effective back focal length
D : clear aperture
Dr : maximum diameter of the image spot
s : distance from the primary principal plane to the object plane
si : distance from the secondary principal plane to the image plane
ds1 : depth of field calculated as the algebric distance from the object to one of the limit positions
ds2 : depth of field calculated as the algebric distance from the object to the other limit position
ds :total depth of field
