For a gaussian beam injected with two lenses into a single mode fiber, calculates the refracted beam waist position and the coupling ratio as functions of the distance between lenses, the focal lengths, the incident beam waist radius and position, the fiber optic mode radius, the wavelength, the transmission coefficient at the fiber entrance and the eventual misalignments of the fiber. It is assumed that without misalignments, the fiber optic entrance is centered on the propagation axis and is coinciding with the plane of the refracted beam waist.
