Calculates the optimal magnification of an optical system for coupling an elliptical beam into a single mode fiber optics. It is considered that the waists of the beam in the two planes (XY and YZ) conjugated by the optical system are located in the same plane and that the fiber optic entrance facet is also located in this plane. It is also considered that the beam is fully coherent ( M square factor = 1). The optimal magnification is calculated as a function of the waist widths of the incident beam in the XZ and YZ planes and the fiber mode radius.
