The calculation is related to the intensity of an elliptical beam in a plane perpendicular to its propagation axis. The intensity is calculated on-axis as a function of the wavelength, of the power, of the distance from the waist to the perpendicular plane and of the waist size as well as of the M-square factor in each outstanding propagation plane (XZ and YZ). The intensity is also calculated anywhere in the perpendicular plane according to the X and Y coordinates.
